Brief

I’ve worked with Glenfrome for a number of years, beginning with a refresh of their brand. The client wanted to keep their logo, whilst updating their look to be friendly, consistent and accessible. I’ve since produced a range of printed materials such as prospectus, signage and most recently a leaflet mailshot to the local area.

Then in 2015, Glenfrome asked me to develop a new website. They wanted easy-to-access links on the home page, which could be easily updated to keep the site fresh, with minimal admin. The design needed to be friendly and approachable for children, accessible and professional for parents. I developed a modular design which makes it easy to navigate to important pages. In addition, I implemented a full blogging system. This allows community members to comment on children’s work, in a safe and monitored way. I also implemented a password protected governors area with file storage capability.

Results

The publicity material and website have proved to be very successful. As a result, they have enjoyed the highest ever number of children starting in Reception this year. And the website has been very well received by parents, staff – and Ofsted! Take a look at www.glenfrome.bristol.sch.uk.
